NickFest Returns to Wolfeboro For a Day of Family Fun

Press Releases - August 26, 2010

August 28 marks the return of NickFest, a day of family fun and games at the Nicholas J. Pernokas Recreation Park, located on Route 28 and Trotting Track Road in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. The event takes place from 10am to 2pm and promises to be a day filled with fun, food, and entertainment for the entire family.

This year, in addition to the popular favorites, the bungee jump and climbing wall, a mechanical bull has been added. Participants can test their skills to discover how long they can endure the raucus ride. For the kids a great time can be had on the Climb and Slide or the petting zoo. Other activities include Boulder Dash, archery and disc golf lessons. Tickets for the NickFest Event  are $10, or if purchased in advance are $8. Purchase tickets at Prudential Spencer Hughes, Avery Insurance, The Country Bookseller, and the office of Great Waters Music Festival, all of Wolfeboro.

To complete the day of events, live music will be performed by the Expressions Dance Academy of Wolfeboro, and a barbecue by the Mill Street Meat Market. For more information or for a volunteer opportunity please email Holly at or visit their website at
