The weekend kicks off on Thursday, Feb. 3 with player check in from 5-9 pm. There will be a welcoming party and skills competition on Feb. 3 from 8-10:30 pm at Lago in Meredith.

The Pond Hockey Classic team competitions begins on Friday, Feb. 4 and runs from 8 am-5 pm. Labatt Promo/Raffle winners will be announced at Mame’s Restaurant in Meredith from 8-11 pm on Feb. 4. The schedule for Saturday, Feb. 5 is the same as for the 4th with the exception of the Labatt Promo/Raffle event held at Guiseppe’s in Meredith at 8 pm.

Says Bonnie Ireland of the Greater Meredith Program, “We have invited Lakes Region restaurants to compete in the event which will be held under a large tent in Hesky Park near the ice hockey. Those who love chili will pay a small admission price to enter the tent and sample all the chili! Awards will be given to the top three restaurants. The radio station Hawk 104.9 FM will be broadcasting during the Chili Cookoff.”

The Greater Meredith Program will also be raffling off the prize of a one-night stay at the Okie Dokie Fishin’ Camp in Tamworth.
